DTS:X support has also been confirmed for later this year.
Marantz has equipped the SR5010 with eight HDMI inputs with 4K 60Hz passthrough and HDCP 2.2.
WiFi, Bluetooth and DLNA connectivity is also offered, allowing for wireless streaming from multiple devices around a user’s home or from online streaming services such as Pandora in the US or Spotify Connect in the UK.
Users will also be able to pair the SR5010 with an iOS or Android device running the Marantz AVR App.
A full package of Audyssey audio technologies are on-board the SR5010.
These handle real-time volume adjustment, offer improvement on surround sound effects and can also auto-calibrate all speakers to suit the room’s particular listening environment and speaker characteristics.
Installation has been designed to be quick and easy, with the ‘Marantz Setup Assistant’ and ‘Quick Start Guide’.
The Setup Assistant features clear on-screen graphics and text that easily guides installers through the setup process, optimising critical system settings for the best possible sound quality.
