Acoustic Energy is using the upcoming ISE show as a launch pad for its latest generation active loudspeaker package, the AEGO3.
The longing running AEGO series combines miniature high-clarity satellite speakers and a matching subwoofer that houses the amplifier hardware for all three channels in 2.1 configuration.
What’s new with the AEGO3 is that it will be available in two models, a traditional subwoofer plus stereo satellite package and also a new subwoofer plus single-speaker stereo soundbar package for smaller TV-based installations and residential applications.
Both systems take on a plethora of wired and wireless connectivity options and single mains power input on the subwoofer. This means power does not have to be run to the satellite speakers or soundbar, which the manufacturer says simplifies installation and reduces the complexity of electrical compliance, particularly in public buildings.
Over three years in development, the new AEGO3 boasts all new alloy-bodied satellite speakers, redesigned compact subwoofer for deep bass and host of connectivity options including optical digital, analogue and Bluetooth AptX wireless.
Both options for the AEGO3 benefit from the series’ signature compact design that keeps its trio of amplifiers in the subwoofer.
“The AEGO series has been our best-selling product in the commercial sector for well over a decade and the new AEGO3 builds on the performance, connectivity and installation simplicity of the original. ISE will expose the AEGO3 to an ever wider audience of European installers and specifiers in our core education and business AV sectors,” comments Acoustic Energy MD, Neil Truckell.
Acoustic Energy will be exhibiting at ISE alongside the company’s European Distributor AVEMEA on stand 5-R128.
