UK disti adds the Harman Kardon Citation series to its brand portfolio.
Effective March 2021, Habitech, distributor to residential and commercial CI will assume responsibility for the Harman Kardon Citation series of wireless portable, multiroom and home theatre speakers in the UK’s custom install sector.
Launched in 2019 and from a respected name in high-end audio, the Harman Kardon Citation series blends high resolution streaming technology with attractive design quality and detail. Featuring Scandinavian aesthetics and materials, including premium blended wool fabrics from Danish textile house Kvadrat, the Citation models will deliver a dynamic listening experience at higher resolutions up to 24 bit/96 kHz from individual wireless speakers or in multiple system or room configurations around the home.
The latest Citation line embraces multiple tabletop speaker options; HDMI-equipped soundbars; a powered wireless subwoofer; surround speakers and powered speakers. Set-up of all Citation speakers is via Google Home and, in addition to limited C4 integration, operation is achieved through the most popular smart applications, including Apple AirPlay, Bluetooth, Chromecast and Google Assistant.
New model launches include the Citation Oasis wireless speaker, featuring an intuitive alarm clock and integral wireless charge-pad, making it a good choice for use with the latest smartphones. Also new is the super-compact Citation Multibeam 700 WiSA-enabled wireless soundbar utilising MultiBeam surround sound technology with room calibration. The seven-driver Multibeam 700 also features HDMI connectivity and comes with a full colour LCD display. Ideal as a partner for the Multibeam 700 is the Sub S, the Citation line’s new compact, WiSA-enabled wireless subwoofer capable of 100 watts output.
A further new arrival is the Citation 200 smart speaker. This portable design comes with a docking cradle enabling up to eight hours playback time from a single charge, which, together with its IPX-4 splash-proof rating, makes the Citation 200 ideal for time spent near the water’s edge.
The Citation range has been created to combine best-in-class audio performance, excellent build quality and design with easy installation and ease of use, making it a compelling proposition for CI and retail partners, says Habitech.
