Prove your humanity

Exertis is marking Black History Month by hosting four inspirational speakers – Yemi Elegunde, Alesia Hendley, Dame Kelly Holmes and Piers Linney.

Exertis’s Ethnicity Employee Resource Group has organised the events, and each speaker has been chosen for their significant contributions to black history and modern culture.

The Ethnicity ERG’s hope is that the speakers’ own personal journeys will empower and enlighten Exertis colleagues and the wider community. Other materials, such as Black Books recommendations and case studies of black activists, are also being cascaded to colleagues throughout the month of October.

Vish Chhatralia, Chief Digital and Marketing Officer, says: “We are truly committed to making a positive impact during Black History Month and beyond. This series of webinars is not just about celebrating the remarkable achievements and contributions of black individuals throughout history, but also about fostering unity and progress.

“We firmly believe that together, we can be better – and that while we’ve made significant strides, there is still much work to be done. These groundbreaking webinars are an opportunity to collectively move forward in our journey towards a more inclusive and equitable society.”

The webinars are open to external contacts as well as internal colleagues. Anyone interested in joining the sessions should click here to secure their seat.
