TP Vision has announced that it will introduce new Philips TV & audio products that wirelessly connect and work together using DTS Play-Fi.
TP Vision recently announced that the new Philips OLED805 series would be the first model from a premium TV brand to include DTS Play-Fi within the set.
The company will now begin to extend on this first step towards building a complete wireless connectivity platform by including DTS Play-Fi in all 2020 Philips android TVs, followed by an over-the-air firmware update to bring DTS Play-Fi to all 2019 Philips android TVs due in the 2nd half of 2020.
DTS Play-Fi is a wireless audio ecosystem for whole-home music, whole-home TV audio, and app-based private listening supporting high-resolution audio streaming and sub-millisecond playback accuracy. Compatible products, including TVs, mobile devices, sound bars, and speakers seamlessly interoperate to form a complete whole-home entertainment experience.
TP Vision will also launch a new range of DTS Play-Fi equipped Philips soundbars and wireless speakers in September 2020 to offer consumers the option of a complete, easy-to-use, seamlessly connected Philips streaming audio system throughout their home.
TP Vision concentrates on developing, manufacturing and marketing Philips-branded TV sets (Europe, Russia, Middle East, South America, India and selected countries in Asia-Pacific) and Philips-branded audio products (Globally) under trademark license by Koninklijke Philips N.V.
