Building upon the success of the previous CEOL iterations, the CEOL N11 DAB adds DAB+/DAB radio to an arsenal that already included Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice control, as well as HEOS Built-In technology. Denon Home speakers can be added to multiple rooms and control it all with the HEOS app.
The CEOL N11 DAB is capable of streaming via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth and USB, giving users the choice of a computer, mobile device, NAS (Network Attached Storage), or the Internet as the sources for music.
In addition to Internet radio or music streaming services such as Spotify, Amazon Music HD and Tidal, listeners can also tap into the sounds of DAB+/DAB digital radio stations or analogue FM/AM radio. And not forgetting physical media, there’s also a built-in CD player.
The CEOL N11 DAB offers high-fidelity sound; a Digital Processing Amplifier incorporates on-board digital EQ processing, tuned to optimise the sound from the Denon SC-N10 two-way speaker system. These speakers have been crafted not just to complement the CEOL system in looks, but also to equal it in sound. Each speaker houses a high-quality 12cm woofer/midrange driver and a 3cm high-definition tweeter to reproduce sound with clarity and weight, as well as what the manufacturer is calling a ‘perfect tonal balance’.
As with previous CEOL designs, the CEOL N11 DAB packages audio technology in a compact casing with striking industrial design. An illuminated touch-sensitive control panel adorns the top of the unit for intuitive control, while an OLED display offers clear playback information from across an average-sized room.
The CEOL N11 DAB is available in ‘sleek grey’, ‘eloquent white’, and ‘understated black’.
