CYP Europe has appointed Ian Mulry as its new Sales Training Manager. With over a decade of experience in the audio-visual industry, Ian brings the knowledge and expertise that will play a crucial role in strengthening distributor and installer relationships, enhancing technical skills, and driving the growth of the businesses across the AV sector. 

In his new role, Ian will focus on training and coaching, working closely with both international and domestic distributors to ensure their technical and sales teams are equipped with a comprehensive understanding of CYP Europe’s product range and applications. 

He will also be instrumental in supporting installation professionals by providing guidance on product specifications, best practices, troubleshooting and firmware updates.

Ian will be a prominent presence at industry events and tradeshows, representing CYP Europe with how-to demonstrations and showcasing its products. Attendees of ISE 2025 in Barcelona will have the opportunity to meet Ian in person.

A key focus for Ian will be the development of tailored training programs, both in-person and virtual, as well as creating custom materials to address the unique needs of CYP Europe’s distributor and installer network. His proactive approach will ensure that partners have the tools, resources and support necessary to maximise success in their territories. 

Ian joins CYP Europe with a strong background in both commercial and residential AV sectors. Having worked with one of CYP Europe’s largest distributor partners, he has excelled in technical leadership, training delivery, and relationship management. His extensive knowledge of signal management, digital signage, interactive technologies and AV system design makes him the ideal contact for any training-related inquiries.
