Control4 used ISE 2018 as a platform to hold a party celebrating the winners of its awards programme. The 2018 awards were given for Dealer of the Year by region, as well as new project award categories.
In total, 28 international dealers and distributors were awarded for installation and business excellence, as well as for outstanding installation projects in specific categories.
Twelve dealers were recognised as Dealer of the Year, an award given to those who are exceptional in their business practices and customer relations, as well as at designing and installing Control4 automation systems, Pakedge networks, and Triad audio. South African based Homemation was named Distributor of the Year.
“Our presence in Europe and Asia continues to grow, bolstered by expanding dealer capacity and our local support in UK, Frankfurt, China, and Australia,” says Bryce Judd, senior vice president of worldwide sales for Control4. “These awards recognise the best dealers and distributors, and project awards give us the opportunity to showcase the stellar work dealers have done installing Control4 systems in homes, commercial spaces, MDUs and hotels, and even yachts.”
Entries in the hundreds
In addition to the overall dealer and distributor awards, the Control4 team reviewed hundreds of project submissions, and recognised nine installations across categories for design and integration excellence. Dealer Velocity was awarded Best Hotel Project for Adare Manor, Best Lighting Project went to CPD Sound & Vision for the Casa Rosake, and Chris Lewis Smart Home won the Most Innovative Use of Control4 for the Bank Farm Winery installation.
Other mentions include Consexto for Best Single Room Installation, Deritec for Best Whole Home Project, NGC Systems for Most Professional Rack, Megatech Arabia for Best Commercial Project, Smarthome Profis for Best MDU Project, and Veritais for Best Marine/Yacht Project.
