Bang & Olufsen has opened its latest showroom in Islington, London, which embraces the brand’s ‘Sensory Concept 3’ approach – aiming to bring a more luxurious, customer-focused approach to the audio retail experience.
The new sensory showroom has been designed to create an inviting space, similar to the home, using furniture, accessories and decorative pieces. Every inch of the venue is curated to reflect peace and serenity, while the showroom uses a warm, tonal palette and vibrant stereo colours while reinforcing a residential feel.
From soundbars to speakers, the Islington store showcases the sound offered by Bang & Olufsen and through the creation of a relaxed and friendly space, Bang & Olufsen aims to remove the intimidating aspect of shopping for audio.
The new store also pays homage to the heritage of Bang & Olufsen. Homing in on the history of the brand, the store features technical drawings and archival print adverts throughout – creating a physical reminder of Bang & Olufsen’s journey from Struer in 1925 to today’s Sensory Concept store.
Kristophe Chalimon, Director of Store Planning and Design & VM at Bang & Olufsen states, “Our new Islington store has been designed to put customers at the very centre of the Bang & Olufsen experience. Bang & Olufsen’s beautiful design and exceptional sound comes to life in the home so we’re delighted to invite visitors to a store that emulates this warmth and serenity.”
Visitors to the store will be able to explore the brand and its new luxury, Sensory Concept store at Bang & Olufsen of Islington, 140 Offord Road, London, N1 1PF.
You can find directions or book a visit to the new store on the Bang & Olufsen website.
