Bang & Olufsen (B&O) is looking for partners to invest in retail outlets in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Partners will be expert advisers to their customer base, helping them choose the right equipment and configuration for their home from B&O’s wide range of sound systems, televisions, speakers and headphones.
Across 70 countries the company has 382 monobrand franchise partner stores focused on delivering the B&O product range and exceptional service. There are already 20 partner-owned locations in the UK currently.
Partners will receive support – from initial store planning and launch, to ongoing dedicated business support – through the brand’s professional retail team, help with finding the right premises for maximum brand awareness and footfall and sales training across the brand’s comprehensive product range so that they are fully equipped to advise customers on all aspects of the audio-visual portfolio.
An experienced marketing team at HQ will also support partners with store openings, special promotions and ongoing marketing activity and partners will have full access to the brand’s e-commerce and digital resources.
B&O calls this a “recession-proof opportunity” that provides a return on investment for partners.
Ideally partners will have a passion for luxury brands, have experience of a customer-centric sector, excellent local market knowledge, be entrepreneurial and a strong networker and relationship builder. B&O is also open to owner/operators or investment partners employing a professional, dedicated retail store team. If someone is a music lover or audiophile, even better.
The level of investment is £250k to £350k, depending on location. B&O will consider individuals, companies or business investors.
