Actor, presenter, all round showbiz legend (and Avensys Customer) Shane Richie cut the ribbon on Thursday July 28 and welcomed specially invited guests to tour the latest addition to the retail showroom.
Avensys says it has built the Smart Home to meet the changing needs and desires of customers to have the latest connected technology in their homes and offers a comprehensive journey through all that is possible.
The Smart Home presents the technology in an interactive, real home setting. From a luxury lounge and dining room, attractively designed kitchen, a cool bar area, a relaxing bathroom, a snug and study; to an impressive fully loaded home cinema.
Avensys believes that a Smart Home should make life simpler, not more complicated, so staff show customers how they can bring together heating, lighting and security, Internet and entertainment products, all from one control unit or App.

The Avensys team has been at the forefront of bringing new technology to consumers via an independent channel and the Smart Home is an extension of the current retail store. The space will also be used for events and functions, alongside one to one demos for customers to explore the products first hand.

The Smart Home space is one of the largest in the UK with over 4,000 sq-ft dedicated to the Smart Home, including a training centre and meeting space, equipped with the latest Audio Visual technology designed and built by the Avensys Commercial team.
