Artcoustic has introduced Mikro – a new ultra-compact loudspeaker platform engineered to deliver exceptional clarity, output and installation flexibility from an elegantly minimal form factor.
Developed for both residential and commercial applications, the maker says Mikro combines architectural discretion with the dynamic performance philosophy that defines the Artcoustic brand.
Launching with two dedicated models – the SL Mikro on-wall loudspeaker and the Mikro Ci in-wall solution — the new range has been designed as a scalable audio platform capable of supporting applications from discreet background music systems to powerful high-performance installations.

SMALL SPEAKER. BIG SOUND.
At the heart of Mikro is a simple philosophy: small speaker, big sound.
Despite its compact dimensions, Mikro has been engineered to deliver output and scale far beyond what would traditionally be expected from a loudspeaker of this size. Through careful driver integration, controlled dispersion and Artcoustic’s signature tuning approach, Mikro achieves impressive vocal clarity, musicality and dynamic headroom while maintaining a refined architectural appearance.
A defining feature of the platform is its scalability. Each loudspeaker can operate individually for elegant low-profile installations or be vertically arrayed in configurations of up to three loudspeakers. Vertical arraying increases output capability, improves sensitivity and delivers greater vertical pattern control while preserving wide and consistent horizontal dispersion.
SL Mikro has been developed as a sleek on-wall solution featuring Artcoustic’s minimalist industrial design language, allowing seamless integration into contemporary interiors while delivering the engaging and energetic presentation associated with the brand.
Complementing the on-wall model is the Mikro Ci – an in-wall solution designed for projects where visual discretion is essential. Engineered to disappear architecturally while maintaining the same sonic DNA as the on-wall version, Mikro Ci enables clean and elegant spaces without compromising audio performance.
Typical applications include hospitality and retail environments such as hotels, bars, restaurants, wellness spaces, galleries, boutiques and boardrooms — spaces where aesthetics and high-performance audio are equally important.
Fully compatible with Artcoustic subwoofer systems, Mikro enables scalable solutions ranging from discreet background audio to immersive high-output installations.
Available in a wide selection of NCS and RAL colours, the product can be customised to complement virtually any interior palette, reveals the maker.
With the new speaker, Artcoustic says it is again challenging the traditional relationship between loudspeaker size and performance — combining compact form factors with scalable acoustic capability and architectural elegance in a loudspeaker platform that is as visually discreet and sonically impressive.
