ARCAM and the manufacturer’s UK distributor, Habitech are to hold four exclusive and condensed ARCAM accreditation sessions during EI Live! 2017. EI Live! is the UK’s only dedicated custom install show, taking place on May 10-11 at Sandown Park. Show registration is free, sign up here.
Each of the two-hour sessions will introduce the brand, the technology and the techniques required to optimise cinema performance in any space, offering custom installers the possibility of achieving full ARCAM sales accreditation.
The courses will be run by ARCAM’s product manager Andy Moore, and will be held in The Royal Box on the first floor of Sandown Park. Sessions are 10am and 1pm on Wednesday May 10 and Thursday May 11.
Those on the course will have the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience with the brand and learn everything they needed to implement the best possible cinema solution. Each course will cover:
- Who is ARCAM?
- ARCAM’s unique approach to AVR design
- Why is reproducing music pivotal in a cinema?
- What is Dirac and how does it work?
- Room acoustics and the real world challenges
- Maximise the system before you measure
- How to capture a clean measurement
- The custom curve explained
- Hands on Dirac calibration
Those interested in registering a place at one of the courses are encouraged to do so asap as spaces are limited. Spaces are limited to one registration per client.
