QMotion UK, specialists in motorised window covering solutions, will unveil its quiet-running, automated Roman Blinds at Integrated Systems Europe (Stand 1M-15, 5-8 February, RAI Amsterdam).

The new, battery-powered, motorised Roman Blind system broadens the choice of window dressing styles for integrated homes, providing what the company says is near-silent movement, optimum shading and easy, convenient operation at the touch of a button.

The ability to now retrofit a motorised Roman Blind system into a property, definitely opens up some fresh opportunities for integrators looking for an easy to install system of this type. The set-up is available with a maximum width of 3000mm x 2400mm drop and carrying a max fabric weight of 5kg. QMotion’s motorised Roman Blinds can be controlled via Amazon Echo Plus or automated with integration as part of a home control system, such as, Control4, Crestron, Vantage, URC and Elan.

“Innovation to make life easier, more convenient and much more comfortable is what QMotion is all about,” says Ian Claxton, QMotion UK’s managing director. “That’s why our battery powered solution for Roller Blinds – and now Roman Blinds – remains unique to the market.”

Also, on display at ISE 2019 will be the TPro-30, a quiet-running, motorised curtain track solution. The TPro-30 features soft start / stop, designed to give it a luxurious feel, but can also be manually operated. The tracks can be available with a radius curve or gradual bend and with headings in either standard pinch pleat or wave curtain hooks.
