The event will showcase how the company is making it easier for dealers to design and specify complete systems for the ultimate listening experience in both home cinema and media room applications.
The event will see Meridian showcasing its renowned 200 series, designed to transform the audio experience with seamless, hassle-free integration. This includes the award-winning 218 zone controller, 271 digital theatre controller, and 251 powered zone controller.
New products
Also on display will be the new UHD722 Ultra High Definition HDMI processor, a 4K switching solution with built-in multichannel Meridian High Resolution (MMHR). The UHD722 can connect to existing processors, enhancing sound quality to HDMI-compatible equipment and producing seamless audio. Featuring Meridian’s unique high-resolution Upsampling and Apodising technologies, the company says the UHD722 ensures the best possible performance from Blu-ray Disc, satellite/TV receivers, and games consoles.
With new, updated features, dealers will be able to discover more about the Meridian’s M6 Digital Active Loudspeaker.
Its new ‘mono’ mode means the M6’s signature room-filling sound can be achieved with a single loudspeaker.
Meridian explains that thanks to its unique mono algorithms, both the left and right channels are summed with no loss of information, producing perfectly matched, authentic audio.
In addition, Meridian’s in-wall/in-ceiling DSP320 Loudspeakers ensure all ranges of sound reach the listener at one time for a wide variety of applications. Featuring Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology, two powerful 80W class amplifiers for wide-range and bass drivers, as well as Meridian’s Enhanced Bass Alignment (EBA) and Centre Elevation technologies, the DSP320 have been created to deliver exceptional audio performance with discreet installation and positioning.
Building partnerships
Attendees at EI Live! also have the opportunity to learn about Meridian’s expanding partnerships with premium home theatre technology suppliers, including Barco Residential, Display Technologies, and Cinema-ATS acoustic treatment.

The service details room layout, speaker positions, and wiring diagrams. In addition, it shows how Meridian components can interface with existing audio and video distribution systems, as well as third party control systems.
