Lewis CaliburnLegrand has launched a new generation of Green-i motion, presence and absence detectors from CP Electronics.
The new range includes a number of detectors that feature a patented rotating bezel that allows direct access to the potentiometers from the front, making setup and adjustments faster and easier.
Users do not need to remove the sensor from the ceiling in order to make adjustments, mitigating the risk of ceiling tile damage, dust or disruption. The rotating cover also conceals settings and protects the controls from any tampering, while providing a streamlined, easily recognisable look.
Detector settings are adjusted with graduated, notched markings for precise alterations, designed to facilitate an easy installation with rapid commissioning and an intuitive setup. Additionally, Green-i features dual commissioning, meaning users can configure detectors either manually or with a handset.
Green-i detectors also feature plug-in terminals and removable connector blocks, simplifying wiring and offering the option to unplug detectors when required.
Sporting an expected 10-year life span and no maintenance requirements, the new detector has been successful in pilot projects, receiving glowing feedback from installers who highlighted the time and cost savings Green-i’s efficient commissioning provides.
Legrand has also provided installers and electricians with a catalogue of information, resources and videos, including a demonstration of how to use the Green-i range’s handset features.
Green-i is designed with easy installation and set-up in mind. It is compatible with LED lighting, with some options also DALI-2 compatible, helping contractors ensure the new detector fits in seamlessly.
