Q Billiard & Spincity at Agora Mall has completed the installation of a HARMAN Professional audio system designed to support the venue’s billiards lounge and bowling alley. Located within the Thamrin Nine complex in Jakarta’s central business district, the entertainment destination serves as a key attraction inside the newly opened shopping mall.
Delivered in partnership with AV integration firm Mega Kapuas Multiniaga, PT and distributor Inti Megah Swara, PT, the system was designed to provide consistent coverage across two activity zones with distinct acoustic requirements. The billiards hall and bowling area each present varying ambient noise levels and audience movement, requiring independent control and careful system tuning.
To meet these needs, the installation incorporates JBL C29AV-1 Surface-Mount Speakers providing full-range coverage throughout the main areas, supported by JBL AC115S subwoofers for controlled low-frequency reinforcement. JBL C50PACK loudspeaker systems provide additional flexible reinforcement, while JBL 2.1 soundbars serve supplementary audio zones.
Power and multi-zone management are handled by a Crown NCDi4x600 amplifier, with system processing and zoning managed through a dbx 1260V ZonePRO. User control is provided by dbx ZC8V and ZCV-Fire controllers, and a Soundcraft Notepad-8FX mixer supports daily operational needs.
The zoned configuration enables staff to adjust output levels independently between the bowling lanes and billiards tables, maintaining clarity without overwhelming conversation or gameplay. Loudspeaker placement and calibration were tailored to preserve intelligibility while supporting background music and event playback.

In addition to acoustic performance, the loudspeakers were selected to integrate visually with the venue’s contemporary interior. The discreet form factors allow the system to support the atmosphere of the space without drawing attention away from the design.
With the installation complete, Q Billiard & Spincity now operates with a flexible, zoned audio system that supports daily operations, private events and peak-hour entertainment. The upgrade strengthens the venue’s position as a social destination within Agora Mall, delivering dependable performance tailored to Jakarta’s growing leisure market.
