Daniel J SaitAnatech Distribution, Primary UK Distributors for Bluesound and NAD for CI, has announced a partnership with Violet Ultra Ltd for UK distribution of the VIOLET Ultra SmartSwitch Lite for the CI market.
SmartSwitch Lite fits into a typical lightswitch enclosure and connects to applications via Wi-fi, currently allowing for simple control of BluOS, Philips Hue, Rako, Sonos and Tado, amongst others (some licenses at additional cost).
The devices are easy to set up, responsive and relatively inexpensive, and can be powered using either a standard neutral and ground connection or 12-30V DC.
“VIOLET is a great adjunct to BluOS,” says Keir Livock, Channel Sales Manager at Anatech, “Where some transport and preset controls are required in a more convenient way than navigating through your phone. And obviously at a fraction of the cost and complexity of implementing a ‘full’ control system.”
