A product available from Invision and Pulse Cinemas, Anthem announced the launch of the MRX SLM this year, described as the ultimate space-saving solution designed for seamless custom integration. Soon to be reviewed in Essential Install, this new offering recognises the growing need for smaller ‘at source’ processors. Anthem says the MRX SLM solves a longstanding challenge faced by integrators—finding the ideal placement for the receiver.
Boasting a compact form factor that is a fraction of the size of traditional AV receivers, the MRX SLM has been created to integrate into any entertainment system, offering the freedom to create clean and clutter-free designs without compromising audio performance. However, despite its slim profile, this receiver delivers outstanding performance, including elevated surround sound and high-fidelity audio. With HDMI connectivity and support for Dolby Atmos and DTS, the MRX SLM has been built to ensure a fully up-to-date audio experience with strong clarity. Staff at the stand will have more information.
Another new release in the form of the Kaleidescape Strato V will also be highlighted at the show. This new offering delivers 4K Dolby Vision playback with lossless audio, offering performance and quality with a lower cost of entry for the brand.
At the time of launch, Tayloe Stansbury, Chairman & CEO of Kaleidescape, said, “Kaleidescape has delivered what customers have been asking for with the new Strato V movie player, now offering Dolby Vision with lossless audio at a lower cost of entry. It’s a testament to our commitment to continued innovation, as the Strato V integrates new electronics and playback capabilities while maintaining the high level of performance we’re renowned for.”

Also from the world of media rooms and home cinema, the stand will offer insight into the AVA Cinema Remote. Shipping began in April of this year, and the AVA Cinema Remote was designed to revolutionise home entertainment experiences, says the manufacturer. This fully programmable remote, based on the Android OS, boasts a combination of a Dynamic Keypad and 3D physical touch interface. When users switch from one function to another, the dynamic keypad reconfigures automatically and instantly. Switching to TV, the necessary commands appear in the same way.
Macros are easy to create and configure, and it’s possible to launch a native app as part of a macro. The remote can control one room or the whole home, and configuration is all done on the AVA Cinema Remote itself, so no PC is needed. Discover more about this unit’s capabilities at the show.
Another major launch this year will be highlighted at EI Live!, where staff will provide more information on the madVR Labs affordable Envy Core Video Processor. This new model is half the size, weight, and price of the Envy Pro MK2—while still delivering the best-in-class, award-winning video processing that Envy is known for. The product is expected to begin shipping in Autumn 2024.
The manufacturer claims the Envy Core delivers exceptional video processing quality in a compact 2U form factor. It offers features and performance that exceed those of higher-priced video processors from other companies, delivering unprecedented price/performance value, argues the manufacturer. More information will be available at the stand.
