What’s New in AVA OS 2.0?
As well as on its own attractive hardware, the AVA 2.0 platform is available on iPad, Mac, Windows and third-party in-wall panels, expanding where end users can experience its intuitive control approach. There is also a premium design system, pro-grade configuration tools and unmatched device compatibility.
Pro Configuration on Desktop: Projects can now be configured and managed on macOS and Windows, in addition to directly on AVA devices themselves. For installers, this means faster deployment, better project oversight and the ability to work in the same desktop environments they already use daily, adding a new layer of familiarity and flexibility.
Premium Design System: AVA OS 2.0 also debuts a new interface rooted in the clean, functional principles of mid-20th-century Swiss graphic design, the same visual DNA that shaped Apple’s hugely successful approach to UI. The result is a crisp, elegant experience with clear hierarchy, strong readability and a polished visual clarity that users will love. Larger touch elements and adjustable font sizes deliver expanded usability without sacrificing the aesthetic refinement AVA is known for.
More Interfaces, More Flexibility: OS 2.0 expands the AVA user experience to iPad, Mac, Windows and Android tablets through the newly developed AVA app. On Android in-wall panels, the app can serve as either a companion interface or a full launcher, giving integrators freedom of hardware choice that suits either their hardware brands of choice or the users or both!
Advanced Automation Tools: OS 2.0 makes project adjustments significantly faster. Installers can now modify or extend existing flows with less reprogramming effort and also replace devices in a system without disrupting the automations already in place for a project. This reduces service time and ensures projects remain flexible as hardware changes over the life of the installation.
Extensive IP Driver Library: AVA now supports more than 1,000 IP drivers, covering both new releases and legacy devices as well. This library is growing at record speed thanks to AVA’s deeply integrated AI development pipeline, which automates much of the driver creation and testing process—cutting timelines from weeks to under a day while maintaining reliability and quality.
