Prove your humanity

Ventola Projects has announced a new partnership with Performit Live, a UK pioneer in AI-powered live digital character technology.

The collaboration will combine Ventola’s lighting and display expertise with Performit Live’s character systems to create immersive experiences that captivate audiences and drive new revenue opportunities across attractions, live events and retail environments.

Part of the VAVR global alliance programme and a UK global export champion, Ventola Projects has been at the forefront of innovative lighting and display solutions, helping clients around the world deliver engaging, high-impact environments. This new partnership represents a significant step in expanding its business model to integrate AI-driven, interactive characters into its offering.

“We are excited to be working alongside Performit Live and look forward to expanding our business model through this partnership,” says Mick Ventola, CEO of Ventola Projects.

“By combining our expertise with their pioneering AI character technology, we can deliver even more dynamic, engaging and commercially effective solutions for clients worldwide.”

Performit Live is reportedly the only company capable of seamlessly driving live digital characters through both AI and human performers, from anywhere in the world. This hybrid model enables scalable yet intimate guest experiences, ensuring performances are both globally accessible and locally personalised.

The partnership will make its debut at the IAAPA Expo in Orlando with the launch of Performit Live’s AI Sales Kiosk (ASK). ASK combines all of Performit Live’s core technologies-including its Lumière and Protégé systems-into one platform designed to create fun, interactive and commercially effective guest experiences.

The ASK system allows a digital character to do more than entertain. It can greet guests, answer their questions, promote products, take payments and deliver both physical and AI-generated items such as personalised photos, digital artwork and souvenirs. By transforming a character into an engaging, interactive point of sale, ASK unlocks entirely new revenue opportunities for operators.

“This is a genuine first for the industry,” says James Banfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Performit Live. “Guests aren’t just watching a character, they’re having a conversation, buying a keepsake, and leaving with something magical to remember.”
