Jessica PereiraTrinnov, Krix and Officina Acustica have announced returning to ISE 2024 on Stand 2C500. Shaped by the latest recommended practice from CEDIA (RP22 Immersive Audio Design Best Practice), this home cinema demonstration promises another show-stopping spectacle, with new refined and improved technologies and equipment throughout the last year.
Joining the partnership is Barco Residential, who will complement the sound performance with best-in-class 4K HDR picture quality.
The demo is also supported by Kaleidescape, Kordz, madVR, RTI, Screen Excellence, and SurgeX.
A high-end home cinema demonstration
This year, Officina Acustica’s beautiful 18-seat cinema room will return. The high-performance, 9 x 6 x 3.3 metre room is unique to the show floor. The room will feature a 13.14.6 discrete speaker array, with Krix exhibiting and unveiling never-before-seen speaker and subwoofer models. The subwoofers will be arranged in an 8-6 WaveForming array.
Trinnov will provide the audio processing and amplification, including the latest iteration of its new WaveForming technology.
The video demo will include a Barco Njord Cinemascope 5K UHD 3-chip DLP projector. This laser projector will use its powerful 9000 ANSI lumens onto a 4.8-meter-wide Reference Screen Excellence screen with a 2.40 aspect ratio, calibrated to deliver 40-foot Lambert. A madVR Envy Extreme will provide the video processing.
Experience an RP22 case study
Anyone spending a few minutes on the show floor will realise that even the best booths are inherently compromised when it comes to delivering the highest possible level of audio performance in a home cinema.
Whilst a dedicated workshop (delivered by Peter Aylett from Officina Acustica, Adam Pelz, and Ben Goff) will cover some of the theoretical aspects of RP22 on February 1 at 12.30 pm, the partners invite everyone to attend the demonstration to experience it as a practical use case.

How to experience the demo
Public demonstrations will be open to all visitors from 12.00 pm to 4.00 pm.
Each public demonstration will run for 20 minutes, and visitors can queue for entry on a first-come, first-served basis.
30-minute private demonstrations will run daily from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm, and after 4.00 pm for predetermined guests. To reserve a seat, please contact a representative of Trinnov, Krix, Officina Acustica, or Barco Residential as soon as possible.
