Prove your humanity

Lots of movement in the high-quality cinema demo space of late, and the latest company venturing into this sector is Invision UK, with the imminent opening of its very own Reference Home Cinema in Bracknell, Berkshire.

EI will be at the launch event and will report back, we are also working on creating a complete case study of the space, so stay tuned for that also.

This new demonstration facility is replete with the latest home entertainment technology from DTS and Trinnov and showcases the best these brands have to offer.

Celebrating the partnership between Trinnov and DTS, Invision’s launch event takes place at the cinema on July 23-24.

The Invision cinema is the first in Europe to feature DTS: X Pro, developed to transport the audience into a new dimension of sound immersion by delivering captivating entertainment experiences.

Its creators say this improved audio experience creates heightened realism to makes horror movies scarier, comedies more laugh-out-loud, and car chase scenes even more intense.

DTS:X Pro builds on the 3D audio abilities of the DTS:X audio technology by increasing the number of available channels from 11 to as many as 32. Invision argues this means its installers will have more freedom to create the most engrossing home cinema experience available for their customers.

The cinema also features Trinnov Audio’s Altitude32 surround sound processor. Specially designed for DTS: X Pro, this is the first surround processor for the domestic market to support up to 32 uniquely rendered DTS:X Pro audio channels.

Trinnov says it created the Altitude32 to ensure undisputed leadership in 3D sound, leaving nothing to chance: high channel count, huge processing capabilities to meet the highest technical requirements, and exclusive, patented technologies to unleash the full potential of immersive sound, regardless of formats and speaker layouts.

The audio created by the partnership of DTS and Trinnov will be played through 26 Procella speakers in 11.4.8 configuration and the visuals will be supplied by a JVC DLA-N9X projector with a Screen Innovation Zero Edge screen.

The audience will be able to sit back and enjoy the experience in Cinema Module’s super-comfortable seats. Located at Segro Park in Bracknell, Berkshire, the cinema is easily accessible to Invision clients.

Mark Taylor, Invision’s commercial director, says, “Our customers are going to love what the partnership of DTS and Trinnov can do. The sound is truly sensational and when I experienced it, I was totally impressed. I am really looking forward to seeing the reaction of the audience at the demonstrations in the new Invision Reference Home Cinema.”
