Steinway Lyngdorf announces the world’s first multi-channel processors with Pure Audio Streaming, the new lossless and immersive music streaming service.

Steinway Lyngdorf says it will be the first manufacturer to integrate the world’s first lossless and immersive music streaming, Pure Audio Streaming. This feature will be available for the Lyngdorf Audio and Steinway & Sons multichannel processors by software update and continues Steinway Lyngdorf’s policy of being a pioneer in adding the newest features to existing products, says the maker.

Immersive audio already became the standard in movie soundtracks, from Dolby Atmos to DTS-X and AURO-3D. Recently, also Dolby Atmos Music has become more popular – music recordings or up-mixes, for example available over Tidal Connect or Apple Music as compressed audio streams, or on dedicated Blu-Ray audio discs

for higher resolution. Pure Audio Streaming has announced the world’s first lossless and immersive streaming service, set to debut at HIGH END 2025. As the premier platform for studio-quality lossless, immersive, surround sound and binaural audio, Pure Audio Streaming is built for purists who demand uncompromising fidelity. The service delivers hardware-optimised playback for high-end AV systems and exclusive high-resolution content, positioning itself as the ultimate streaming solution for discerning audio enthusiasts.

Steinway Lyngdorf will be the world’s first manufacturer to integrate the new platform directly in its multichannel processors. Playing directly has several advantages: Simply open the Pure Audio app, choose a song, playlist or album, and stream audio directly over the AV processor. With this new move, streaming convenience is now available for immersive audio in high resolution quality. Steinway Lyngdorf will integrate Pure Audio Streaming in the Lyngdorf MP-40, MP-50 and MP-60 HDMI 2.1 multichannel processors, as well as for Steinway & Sons systems based on the P100, P200 and P300 multichannel processor.

Both Lyngdorf Audio as well as Steinway Lyngdorf have extended the product portfolio over the years, now covering AV processors and power amplifiers to loudspeakers, including the final important part, calibrating the speakers to the room acoustics with RoomPerfect. With Pure Audio, and audio productions by msmstudios, this high-quality chain is extended to the front-end: Excellent music recordings available over streaming directly into the AV processor, with the convenience of app control to choose albums by artists, recommendations, or browsing through cover artworks.

The new integration for the Lyngdorf Audio and Steinway & Sons processors will be available with the next software update coming soon, and free of charge for all product owners.
