However, the pets of the world are going to have to go some to beat this latest feathered friend who has fully embraced the world of cutting-edge home tech.
Petra the African grey parrot is already a YouTube star for her use of the Amazon Alexa platform, now this clever bird is getting some Spring cleaning in with a ride on a Roomba robot vacuum.
One of Petra’s owners who loaded the video of Petra supervising the Roomba’s explained, “Petra loves home automation. She turns the lights and music on and off using Alexa and Google Home daily. We thought we’d let her try out the Roomba.”
The bird has a 300-350 word vocabulary and often puts together her own sentences, and can respond to situations in the appropriate context. More of her vocabulary and use of technology can be seen in videos on her YouTube channel at PetraGrey.
