Daniel J SaitSony is pleased to announce today that its BRAVIA home cinema projectors and business projectors will resume shipping in the European market starting this month, after a two-month interruption, following recent amendments to EU export control regulations and trade restrictions.The BRAVIA Projector 7 will also be making its European debut this summer.
The products returning to market will be shipped under current technical specifications, with availability aligned to Sony’s regional logistics schedules.
The BRAVIA Projector 7 (VPL-XW5100), announced in the US and other regions excluding Europe, joins the existing home cinema line-up. Sony says the BRAVIA Projector 7 delivers an immersive, cinema-quality experience at home. Powered by the XR Processor for projector and high-brightness laser technology, it features XR Dynamic Tone Mapping, Deep Black, TRILUMINOS PRO, and Clear Image for rich contrast, vibrant colours, and 4K upscaling.
With IMAX Enhanced compatibility and a 2,200-lumen laser light source in a compact design, it offers vivid viewing and low-latency 4K 120fps gaming. Drawing on Sony’s expertise in professional cinema gear, the projector bridges filmmakers’ vision with in-home entertainment, creating a stunning and authentic visual experience for movie lovers and gamers alike.
