Sony and Genesis HTA have announced a distribution agreement for Sony home cinema projectors and Bravia Professional TVs in the Custom Installation market. Under the agreement, Genesis HTA will market, sell, and service Sony’s premium home cinema solutions through its growing network of independent Home Technology Architect (HTA) partners in Germany.
“We are thrilled to partner with Genesis HTA to bring our leading home cinema projectors and Bravia Professional TVs to custom installers of smart homes and home cinemas,” says Maxime Lemoine, Head of Sales Residential – Europe at Sony. “Together, we will provide installers and specifiers with the best possible solutions to create truly immersive experiences.”
The professionally installed smart-home market is expected to reach $80 billion by 2026, according to a recent report by ABI Research. This growth is being driven by the increasing demand for connected devices and the desire for people to have more control over their home environments.
“I could not be more excited. Sony is a world leader in projection and direct-view technology, and we are excited to be able to offer their products to our home technology architect partners,” says Wim GE De Vos, founder at Genesis HTA. “With this partnership, we are able to complete our offering in network, control, audio and video technology for premium homes of tomorrow.”
Genesis HTA is a European company and leading trade supplier of technology products and engineering services for homes of tomorrow. The company has a growing network of 500 independent HTA installation partners who specialise in installing and integrating home cinema, whole-house audio, lighting, networking, and security systems.
“Technology is at the heart of homes of tomorrow,” says Wim “We are confident that this partnership with Sony will allow us to achieve our goal of becoming the premier provider of home technology solutions in the professionally installed market in Europe.”
