Integrators were able to see Snap One’s expanded Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions at the expo, which now includes the Luma video management system (VMS) and new high-capacity 16-channel and 32-channel NVRs.
The full NDAA-compliant line of Luma x20 NVRs and cameras in bullet, dome and turret styles is Luma’s first to include a new “customer handoff” feature via OvrC, which can be set up for maximum privacy and exclusive customer control where only the owner can view feeds and recordings.
When integrated with the OvrC remote management system, Luma x20 users can easily enable temporary integrator access for troubleshooting or software updates without sacrificing their privacy. The remote management capabilities can also cut down on configuration time and enable faster customer service when assistance is required.
For the latest in outdoor entertainment, the new 75-inch SunBrite Veranda 3 Full Shade Outdoor TV was also on shoe, offering 4K UHD resolution with 1,000 nits of peak brightness, and Wi-Fi to enable simple setup and system design.
With the added convenience of dual 10W integrated speakers, Google Voice control, Chromecast integration and the Android TV smart platform, a SunBrite Veranda 3 TV can be a standalone outdoor media centre, or it can be connected with Snap One’s various outdoor speaker lines for a more cinematic and all-encompassing experience.
Each Veranda 3 model includes features that make it easy to integrate with Control4 and other popular control systems, such as rear-facing IR receivers and IP control options. The IP55-rated display and IP56-rated remote provide complete protection from rain, snow, dust, dirt, humidity, salt air and insects.
Also on the booth was the Episode Aftershock High-Performance Landscape series of outdoor speakers, featuring easier installation via Quick Connect mounts, impressive power handling and greater flexibility.
Snap One’s Outdoor Bar & Lounge demo included a variety of ClareVision security products, Strong ceiling TV mounts and space-saving slide out racks, the Control4 Vibrant Linear Lighting series of controllable coloured and white LED strip lighting and the Episode Radiance system, which combines outdoor lighting and audio on a single wire.
