Smart Living by Nice Takes Centre Stage at ISE 2026

Nice presents its most integrated smart living ecosystem to date at ISE 2026, reframing connected technology as an experience rather than a collection of devices.

At Integrated Systems Europe 2026, Nice returns with a bold new vision that places Smart Living at the heart of its brand and technology strategy. Exhibiting at booth 2H300, the company showcases its most complete and unified portfolio yet, bringing together automation, security, AV, climate, energy management and access control within a single, coherent ecosystem.

At the core of the presentation is Nice’s dual operating system strategy, combining Yubii OS and ELAN OS into one interoperable platform. Together, they are designed to support a wide range of residential and commercial projects, from simple retrofits to fully integrated premium environments, while maintaining a consistent brand experience.

This year’s presence marks a shift in emphasis from control to experience. Smart Living is positioned not as a feature set, but as a design philosophy focused on how people live, work and interact with their spaces. The concept reflects movement and adaptability, with systems intended to evolve alongside changing lifestyles and usage patterns.

According to Nice, Smart Living is about creating environments that work intuitively in the background. Lighting, shading, AV, climate and security are designed to operate in harmony, reducing complexity while enhancing comfort and efficiency. Whether deployed as a single solution such as gate automation or as a fully integrated system, each element contributes to a more seamless daily experience, says the company.

The Nice ecosystem is powered by two interoperable operating systems tailored to different project requirements. Yubii OS delivers a flexible, modular and wireless-ready approach, suited to retrofits and light commercial installations. It supports more than 3,000 third-party integrations and is designed to scale easily as needs evolve.

ELAN OS underpins Nice’s premium smart living offering, providing full-stack integration across security, AV, lighting, climate and entertainment. It features a refined user interface, proprietary voice assistant and deep system interoperability. Native compatibility with Yubii OS allows wireless devices, motors and shading systems to be controlled seamlessly within a single architecture.

For professional integrators, the integration between ELAN and Yubii OS is designed to reduce friction throughout the project lifecycle. Wireless communication is handled via a dedicated gateway, supporting larger device counts, extended range and fewer issues associated with battery-powered endpoints. Nice says this results in cleaner system design, fewer service visits and greater confidence when scaling complex projects.

Visitors to the Nice booth can explore the full breadth of the Smart Living ecosystem. Highlights include ELAN OS 9, introducing enhanced voice assistant functionality, new hardware compatibility and a redesigned user interface for managing scenes and automation.

The Yubii Home App forms the core of Yubii OS, enabling scenario setup and management for security, lighting, climate and energy monitoring from a single smartphone interface. Hardware options include Yubii Home, a compact gateway for apartments and smaller homes, and Yubii Home Pro, a high-performance gateway supporting unlimited plug-ins, scenarios and native KNX integration.

The portfolio also spans smart thermostats, video surveillance and door entry, premium toolless speakers, AV distribution and rack solutions using Gefen Gen3 AVoIP, Z-Wave–compatible smart modules and automation solutions for gates and shading. Together, these elements are designed to connect indoor and outdoor spaces while supporting energy efficiency and system cohesion.

“Smart Living is not just about connecting devices — it’s about designing meaningful experiences that evolve with people’s lives,” says Davide Bignù, Group Chief Marketing Officer at Nice, adding that the company is focused on building an ecosystem that simplifies everyday living while remaining intuitive, integrated and ready to grow.

With its ISE 2026 showcase, Nice positions Smart Living as a unified vision rather than a collection of technologies, reinforcing its commitment to clarity, interoperability and long-term value for integrators and end users alike.
