Prove your humanity

Already firmly established in the US with authorised installers throughout the country, IP camera and facial recognition intercoms manufacturer, Visualint Ltd is looking to replicate that success in the UK and Europe.

In a separate announcement, Visualint is also introducing an approved installer program, all of the products being backed by the manufacturer’s Virtual Technician Service that allows the installer to simply send the analytical configuration they require for set up by remote technicians.

“Coming from an electronic security background I am really excited about the CI market as its members really seem to grasp new technology in a way that security companies don’t and it’s easy to get excited about your products when your customers share that enthusiasm,” says managing director Jon Osborne.

“We see the custom install market as a major part of our business in the UK and Europe which is why we have just obtained CEDIA Membership and announced our intention to be at CEDIA Expo in Dallas alongside our US partners, Essential Install North with Aldous Systems – and on our own stand at ISE 2016 in Amsterdam.

“This is an important aspect of our business as we know our products are only as good as the installation, which is why we have taken the decision to provide direct support to trained partners. Our products are not mass-market units that simply bolt to a wall, they are designed to add value, enhancing the technological offering our installers deliver.

“This is actually the start of our second year in the UK and like many ventures the first year has been about getting the products and the aftercare right; everyone at Visualint comes from an engineering background and we believe that the intelligent video offered by our products is only limited by our customers’ imaginations. If this is true, we are in for exciting times as reading about some of your readers installations their imagination seems to know no bounds!”

Visualint produces a range of analytically enabled IP cameras and facial recognition intercoms.

Featuring built in ‘analytical intelligence,’ the company’s CCTV products can identify and differentiate between objects such as people, vehicles and animals.

In addition, each camera can have up to 100 individual detection zones or tripwires in its field of view coupled with intelligent rules such as ‘objects left and abandoned’.

This intelligent video offers direct integration with Savant, Control 4, Crestron and Bitwise, meaning that the information is directly relayed to the user’s intelligent home to trigger custom automation patterns or security scenarios.

Automatic number plate recognition is also included, while the manufacturer’s Visualint Face intercom unit offers biometric intelligence that recognises the homeowner, welcoming them home and alerting the intelligent home of their arrival.
