Jordan O'BrienRTI has released its updated Integration Designer software to dealers, allowing installers to get a completely customisable user interface before the device ships for integration.
Installers utilising one of RTI’s handheld, in-wall universal controllers, central processor or audio distribution systems can utilise Integration Designer 9.6.
Integration Designer 9.6 offers customers a whole host of new features, with support for RTI’s new KX3 and WK2, as well as SiP based VoIP Audio Only Intercom.
Intercom is now available by using SiP based VoIP and is supported by RTI interfaces including the KX7, CX7, T3x remote control and the upcoming KX3.
The new intercom functionality is also compatible with third-party door stations.
Although this is currently audio only, video support is currently available for MJPEG and H.264 will be added as part of the next firmware update.
SiP based VoIP Intercom allows devices to communicate over network with no additional hardware needed.
