UK Install company, The Majik House, has called on Invixium products for its state-of-the-art experience centre to add next gen biometric automation
Automation company Majik House has equipped its impressive Experience Centre with fingerprint biometric products by Invixium.

In keeping with its mantra of ‘keep it simple’, the biometric readers allow Majik House staff to quickly setup the Centre on Saturdays for scheduled and drop-in visitors and eliminate the use of magnetic key fobs for access with a simple touch of a finger.
Invixium says its IP-enabled biometric products provide security and convenience without the need for keys, PINs or passwords and grant access only to enrolled users.
When integrated with a Control4 system, Invixium fingerprint biometric products also allow for personalisation and profiling of an automated system.
Based on the user’s profile, the touch of a finger can activate a host of peripherals including lights, window shades, audio equipment and appliances.
The IXM TOUCH is installed at the Experience Centre’s front exterior entrance and directly triggers the magnetic lock through its built-in relay and is also connected to an existing Control4 system via PoE.
To open the Experience Centre to customers, a staff member places their finger at the IXM TOUCH device which activates a list of automated events such as: disable the alarm system, turn on all high-definition televisions and lights throughout the Centre.
In the interior, the slim yet powerful IXM MYCRO is installed at the entrance of the newly renovated home cinema showroom.
When a finger is biometrically authenticated on the IXM MYCRO, lights are turned down, the amplifier is turned on and a pre-selected movie starts to play on the wide projection screen.
“The biometric devices by Invixium were very simple and straight forward to install,” says Tim Burrow, MD of The Majik House. “When compared to other biometric devices, Invixium’s fingerprint products are realistically priced with incredible value.”
In addition to simple hardware installation, all Majik House employees were enrolled using Invixium’s intuitive web-based software, IXM WEB with relative ease.
