Jordan O'BrienThe China Exploration & Design Association, China Association of Building Energy and the Electrical Industry Intelligent Building Division has recently crowned HDL the winner of the top smart home brand award at the Intelligent Building Awards in Asia.
The awards are now in their fourth year and the largest of its kind in the region, with a panel of some 190 judges deciding on the winners. The judges include senior engineers, professors, directors and vice presidents of China’s leading Universities, as well as private and public sector companies.
In 2014 HDL came third for the ‘outstanding smart home brand’ award and the ‘excellent architectural lighting brand’. This year while it managed to nab the top award for the former, it came second for the latter award.
