Crestron has revealed its plans for the Light + Building Show 2016 in Frankfurt, where it will showcase it latest products, many which were available to see at ISE 2016 in Amsterdam.
Of particular focus will be the new Home Elements Toolkit, a product designed to simplify the life of installers and customers alike. It works by making it easier for programmers to deliver the latest 4K video distribution and customised controls that work across Crestron Pyng and 3-Series control platforms.
“As the world’s leading provider of control and automation systems, we understand the needs of our dealers and their end customers which is why we have developed the Home Elements toolkit. This solution enables dealers to deliver a truly personalised luxury automation solution faster than ever before while ensuring a spectacular user experience that includes intuitive dropdown and slide-out windows and scrolling lists on all devices” says Robin van Meeuwen, CEO of Crestron EMEA.
“Developed in conjunction with Pyng technology, Home Elements delivers the performance, scalability and reliability of Crestron home automation without dealers having to learn to use any new software.”
The Crestron stand features many rooms that would typically be found in a house – from the kitchen, through to the lounge, hallway, technology room – and even the garden – showcasing how Crestron’s solutions can be used. This gives dealers a practical insight into how their customers would interact with the technology using either an App on their smart device or via a Crestron touch panel.
The new TS-1542 15.6in HD Touch Screen will be on the stand, featuring a metal construction and a 15.6in capacitive touch screen with Crestron Smart Graphics.
In addition, the company will also be showing the .AV Framework, Cresnet connected keypads and Crestron’s Pyng solution which is designed to make it faster and easier to deliver luxury home automation on any scale.
For commercial applications, there are enhancements to the company’s flagship Crestron Fusion platform. The software monitors room occupancy to automatically turn AV devices on and off throughout the day, saving energy, minimising downtime and preserving the life of the equipment.
Digital Media 10 products will also be available to view, including the DM-TXRX-100-STR compact H.264 streaming encoder/decoder and the DM-RMC-4K-SCALER-C, which provides an advanced one-box interface solution for a single display device as part of a complete Crestron DigitalMedia system.
