Prove your humanity

Since Crestron’s announcement of ditching the Pyng brand at ISE 2019, the smart-home industry has long-awaited the release of its successor, Crestron Home OS 3. The all-new offering, which has been designed from scratch for an IoT era, delivers an entirely new UI and customer experience.

With the same back-end operating system as OS 2, the revamped interface is speedier, silkier and simpler. Its fresh layout also allows easier access to commonly used functions; new icons for quick access to ‘favourites’; enforced end-to-end encryption for secure communications between devices; personalisation, which uses photos to represent rooms, and, unlike OS 2, supports multiple homes.

The update is available through both mobile devices and Crestron TSW touch screens. Combined with remarkably fast deployment for integrators and the confidence that comes with renowned Crestron hardware, Crestron Home OS 3 offers residential integrators the complete package for any sized smart home project.

Crestron Home OS 3 is the smart way to make more homes Crestron homes. It delivers the speed and simplicity our residential dealers want, which will help them optimise and maximise their business, and the intuitive experience their clients demand,” says Michael Short, Global Residential Marketing Manager for Crestron. “Complete projects can be set up and deployed on any scale in a fraction of the time of traditional methods, with no programming needed.”
