At ISE 2024, Screen Innovations will be displaying its latest products, including the Solo 3 Outdoor motorised projection screen, the Zero G levitating motorised rollable projection screen (which deploys and retracts on demand) and FlexGlass – flexible, durable and extremely large for rear projection that allows users to configure a screen in many shapes, such as an S-Shape or in a 360° circle.

Solo 3 Outdoor is the industry’s first architectural design-focused outdoor screen solution, says Screen Innovations, designed to seamlessly blend into today’s home designs.

Designed to transform an outdoor area into a comfortable, stylish living space, key features include the fact that AC, low-voltage, and solar rechargeable power options are available, users can choose between nine powder-coated colours or a custom paintable primed option for a perfect colour blend, a zipper system aids screen stabilisation, and it’s available in 360 and Maestro material options.

A new optional external Moab Control Board is also available – including local control pad buttons which can set and adjust limits, a built-in IR receiver and IR Remote control, and third party control inputs for 12v trigger, dry contact and two-way 485 with every low voltage and AC 485 motor are added benefits.

With a unique snap-in tube and hidden bracket attachment, Solo 3 Outdoor reportedly instals in half the time of innovative outdoor projection screens.

Optional preconstruction channels allow contractors to fur the track for smooth installation, and the product is suitable for light wind control (an optional anemometer accessory automatically raises the screen in higher winds), built-in obstruction detection stops and reverses the Solo 3 Outdoor screen, preventing damage or injury. It also boasts a quiet, durable operation using outdoor rated motors and components and it is fine tunable using a remote, or through TaHoma/ TRO.Y.

Meanwhile, FlexGlass is available in sizes up to 8.25ft tall by 100 ft long and is engineered from the same materials as bullet proof glass. That makes FlexGlass an extremely large and

durable screen, well suited for use in any scenarios where rear-projection is applicable. It is also compatible with short throw projection from any direction, making a massive screen possible, with a very small footprint.

With FlexGlass, users can configure a screen into many different shapes such as an S-Shape or even a 360° circle due to its flexible nature. Even with all that flexibility, FlexGlass still maintains that look from standard glass rear-projection systems.

The Zero G levitating motorised rollable projection screen will also be on display, which re-imagines standard motorised screens and deploys a ‘levitating’ image exactly where a user wants it.

Key features include a levitating motorised screen, it can be deployed in places where a rigid TV cannot, all screens come with Wall Switch, IR Remote, and low voltage trigger, it has a maximum drop of 7.9′ (95”), depending on screen size, features a removable upper motor lift tube with single pin release, PCB is slide removable from the case, the screen surface is tab-tensioned, material roll is pre-installed from the factory, it has an automatic upper limit by optical sensor and it is available in flush (in-ceiling) or external (wall) mount options.
