Russound Ready For EI Live!
Leading the charge in control and audio distribution are the new SMZ8 and SMZ16-PRE. The SMZ8 is an advanced 8-source, 8-zone controller amplifier with built-in streaming, HDMI ARC, and intuitive zone control, scalable to up to 48 zones. Its big brother, the SMZ16-PRE, is a 16×16 Matrix Pre-Amplifier with built-in streaming that offers expansion support up to 96 zones. Both models are easily controllable through keypads (IPK-1), touchscreens (XTS7), and the Russound app. Together, these products represent the next evolution of scalable, high-performance audio distribution, says the maker. In particular look out for the XTS7 at the show.
For media rooms and home cinemas, the AVA-Series Mini-AVRs, the AVA2.1 and AVA3.1, deliver big performance in a small package. With Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI with ARC, and both analogue and digital inputs, these compact amplifiers offer 50W per channel of clean audio and can be hidden behind TVs or mounted on shelves with ease. Paired with Russound’s new soundbar, the Cinema Bar 3.0, they create immersive, clutter-free listening experiences perfect for modern living spaces. Both will feature on the stand.

To power these systems, Russound introduced a trio of powerful D-Series digital amplifiers: the D890, D1290, and D1675. These compact, rack-mountable units range from 8 to 16 channels with 75–90W per channel, featuring high dynamic range, easy to control audio filters and thermal fan cooling, all in a slim chassis. They’re engineered for high-demand installations where power, reliability, and flexibility are essential. Also featuring at the event.
Match Distribution also underlines the quality of the company’s award-winning support team and product specialists serving its global network of professionals, backed by the highly regarded Russound Certified Installer (RCI) program, now with over 16,000 members. Dealers and integrators benefit from regularly updated training materials, product documentation and installation resources designed to ensure success in the field.
Russound says its 2025 lineup reflects a renewed commitment to innovation, installer support and customer experience. With thoughtful design, high-performance engineering and seamless integration across devices, the company is looking to set a new standard for residential audio.
