Lewis CaliburnRegistration for AWE Expo 2024 is now officially open, taking place from 14-15 May at the AWE Show Apartment in Epsom.
The event provides an opportunity for installers to experience the best in smart home technology in situ at the AWE Show Apartment.
This demo space includes two dedicated home cinemas, showcasing AV set-ups at different price points in The Reference Cinema, and The Performance Cinema, as well as featuring a living room, music room, den, and games area.

Here’s a closer look at what visitors can expect to see at this year’s Expo:
AUDIO
AWE is the exclusive distributor of Bowers & Wilkins Custom Install (CI) products. In the Reference Cinema the main speakers are Bowers & Wilkins CI800 Diamond Series, with CDA-2HD power amplifiers used to drive four Bowers & Wilkins CT-SW15 15″ subwoofers.
Over in the Performance Cinema, discover the bass and power of the CI700 series, ISW-8 in-wall subwoofers and CDA-2HD amplifiers. The ISW-8 features a surprisingly thin profile and 12” Aerofoil driver using neodymium magnets to deliver both power and precise control.
Completely updated for 2024, the Music Room features a range of wireless and wired high-definition audio solutions from AWE’s premium hi-fi brands, with mid and high-end 2-channel demos. More details will be announced soon.
PROJECTION
See the latest home cinema projectors from Epson and Sony in AWE’s dedicated home cinemas.
The Epson LS12000 4K Laser Projector boasts a laser light source that will provide a brighter yet lower energy consumption for up to 10 years (20,000 hours of usage). Picture quality is excellent, and installation is simple and precise, thanks to motorised optics including a 2.1x optical zoom, powered focus, and substantial optical lens shift.
The Sony GTZ380 Native 4K Laser Projector boasts 10,000 lumens of brightness and a 100% DCI-P3 wide colour gamut and is certified for IMAX Enhanced content. AWE’s cinema expert James Drummie can be quoted saying “it makes real life look boring”.
Visitors can also see the ADEO Movie Mask screen in the Reference Cinema, which features electric side masking for the ultimate home cinema experience. The ADEO range of projection screens are fully customisable and make the perfect partner for Epson and Sony projectors.
TVs
New models for 2024, including upcoming releases from Panasonic, Sony’s new OLED and QD-OLEDs, along with LG’s C4 and G4 series, will be showcased in AWE’s TV Gallery. There will be a range of releases at Expo that are currently under NDA – you won’t want to miss them.
Hisense Laser TVs offer a fantastic big screen alternative, with the 100L9H available for under £4k. Coming in two-parts; an ultra-short throw laser projector and a 100” or 120” ambient light rejecting screen – a great option for bright, multi-purpose spaces.
Kinetic Ultra Short Throw Projector AV Cabinets, exclusively at AWE, are fully customisable and designed to support laser TV installations accommodating both 120” and 100” screen options.
SMART HOME AUTOMATION
The Show Apartment is controlled by the URC smart automation MRX-30 processor. It’s operated by a combination of URC interfaces, including the new TKP-8600 8″ In-Wall Touch Screen and TRC-1480 2.4″ Touch Screen remote controls, both with integrated voice control. Additionally, learn more about the feature rich and high-performance HDA Amplification with seamless Control4 and Crestron integration.
HIGH PERFORMANCE AVRs
A range of AWE exclusive models will be on display – including Marantz and Denon. Marantz CINEMA Series includes a matching pre/power combo with 15-channel power amplifier, four AV receivers for superb performance, optional DIRAC Live with bass control, and a 3D soundscape with immersive audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, plus 8K video available on multiple inputs. Denon is designed to deliver an immersive home cinema experience. With HEOS Built-in technology, streaming and multi-room set-up is supported.
