Recording space available on Midwich Group stand at ISE

Midwich Group launches AV on Air – a new recording space for attendees to use at ISE 2023.

Available to book now, ISE visitors, who have not got the required technology, can take advantage of the studio to capture content while at the Barcelona-based show.

Located on the Midwich Group stand in hall three (3P400), the space consists of a Bird Dog P400 camera, three Shure MV7s, a Roland SR20HD, and an Elgato CamLink. The setup allows users to record content direct to an SD card or to a laptop through a USB-A input. Note, there are no live streaming capabilities.

Chris Neto, Market Development Manager at Starin, says, “It is fantastic to be able to offer AV on Air to ISE attendees. At Starin, we’ve had great success with our Basecamp concept at tradeshows in the USA and wanted to replicate the offering here.

“As a content creator, I know it can be challenging to travel with the necessary equipment, our studio removes that problem by allowing users the ability to record content while at the show with our equipment instead.”

Visitors to the stand can also watch AV on Air users record their content. The current schedule includes Christopher Jaynes (CTO and founder of Mersive Technologies), Joe Way (Chair of HETMA), Mark Coxon (business development director – XTG from AVI-SPL), and Mike Blackman (Managing Director of ISE). More to be announced soon.

Jenny Hicks, Head of Technology at Midwich Group, adds, “We are delighted to welcome guests to our stand and our dedicated recording space, AV on Air. The space has been designed to allow users to create exciting show-related content as well as collaborate and reconnect with industry peers during the show.

“Both Chris and I will be there recording ISE-related content for our show, Midwich Live, and I look forward to seeing the space being used as well as what content is created as a result.”

One-hour slots are still available and can be booked by contacting Chris Neto on
