Back in May of this year, Pulse Cinemas announced the company had added the RTI automation platform to its portfolio of brands. With one successful training initiative already completed, the company has announced new dates and training details.
The dates for this free-of-charge two-day training course are: October 14-15, November 18-19 and December 9-10. Installers can register for the event here.
Hosted by Internal Sales Manager, Simon Schino, along with new RTI expert Russ Hughes, joining Pulse Cinemas as Technical Sales Support, these two-day courses act as an introduction to RTI’s Integration Designer APEX programming software to get installers up and running with this automation platform.
First introduced into the market in 2017, APEX is the backbone of RTI’s control and automation solutions, created to deliver the performance installers need, but also to simplify and speed up programming time on each project. This Windows-based platform also provides access to other features such as the RTiQ intelligent remote monitoring solution.
Simon explains, “With the success of our last RTI training initiative, we wanted to take things up a gear and offer three two-day opportunities for installers to really get to grips with the system. If you are new to the system or even if you have used it before, this course will provide invaluable insight into just how good this platform is, as well as how straight-forward it is to create the right functionality for all of your clients.
“Places are limited so I highly recommend booking early and getting the date set in stone for this important opportunity. All the courses are held at Pulse Cinemas HQ where you will, of course, be treated to our famous catering; so staying well fed and watered during the event is guaranteed. While there, you will also be able to enjoy the other AV based experiences we offer. If you haven’t seen the recently updated cinema and media room demo spaces, it’s a real added bonus to check them out.”

Simon also explains that all those who attend will be able to purchase the specially created RTI demo kit, C2K1, at a special price. A straight-forward way to deliver a smart home or smart office project, the C2K1 Custom Control Kit delivers powerful control and automation of AV, lighting and security. Designed with flexibility in mind, the kit offers full customisation via Integration Designer APEX to enable simple operation of today’s electronics and easy control for tomorrow’s too.
The two-day free of charge training courses all take place in Pulse Cinemas’ dedicated training room.
Simon adds, “We took on RTI as we believed it was the best system out there for us and our dealers. The Integration Designer APEX software really is impressive, but not only that, it has been created to be accessible and versatile allowing you to control complex layouts by isolating changes to specific areas of the GUI. With the shared layers feature all edits made on one page are automatically implemented everywhere.
“Viewports add even more versatility to RTiPanel devices by providing sections of the screen that can be swiped through without impacting other graphics on the page. Another fantastic time saver is the source bundle capability, which allows integrators to export fully developed interfaces for reuse in existing or future projects.
“The RTiQ cloud-based remote management solution within APEX allows installers to intelligently monitor their client’s systems and receive alerts via email and text message whenever an issue occurs. This means you can remotely trigger custom actions and reset devices. The result is a better experience for customers, with system downtime reduced. So, choose a date, get in touch and let’s reach the automation APEX only RTI can deliver.”
