Waterfall Audio will unveil the new Niagara XT3 at CEDIA Expo 2025. The Niagara XT3 completes the Niagara XT series from Waterfall. Featuring 10 mm Safety Platinum glass, the Niagara XT3’s fully transparent architecture is designed to harmonise with any interior.
“The Niagara XT3 is not just a loudspeaker. It’s a powerful statement of craftsmanship, innovation and luxury,” says Cedric Aubriot, CEO and Founder of Waterfall Audio. “At the heart of this unique creation lies a mechanically decoupled glass horn tweeter, a true feat of engineering and artistry. We invite all CEDIA Expo visitors to experience the Niagara XT3’s extraordinary sound and design firsthand.”
Comprising 11 precision-machined glass components, each intricate glass tweeter is created using advanced manufacturing techniques entwined with hours of hand assembly in Waterfall’s South of France production facility, echoing techniques used in luxury jewellery ateliers. This tweeter delivers medium-high frequencies with what the manufacturer is calling “unmatched purity and generosity”.
The Niagara XT3 (46in height x 11.8in width x 13.6in depth / 500w output) is equipped with two ATOHM LD180 (7″) bass-midrange drivers and a 8in passive radiator (UFR210), ensuring dynamic and natural sound reproduction across all musical registers. High frequencies are handled by a premium neodymium silk dome tweeter, coupled with the signature horn.
Waterfall’s proprietary JETSTREAM damping technology, inspired by jet engine design, delivers acoustic clarity by controlling rear wave reflections and damping mid and high frequencies. Its advanced aluminum turbine structure also preserves airflow for optimal bass, enhances heat dissipation and ensures mechanical decoupling of the drivers from the glass enclosure.
The Niagara XT3’s infra-low frequency driver, housed in a solid aluminum base, delivers deep, resonant bass that moves in harmony with the music. Every detail from Nappa leather accents to extra-large connectors and custom crossovers reflects Waterfall’s pursuit of perfection.
The Niagara XT3 will be available in the US and Canada from September 2025 and can be ordered directly from Waterfall in the UK.
The Niagara XT1 and XT2 each feature a signature wood horn tweeter. The XT1 (39in height x 9.8in width x 11in depth / 400w output) and larger XT2 (46in x 11.8in x 13.6in / 500w output) are available in a Classic version with an oiled beech wood tweeter finish.
Hosted on the booth of its North American Partner Distributor, Selective Design at CEDIA Expo (#1729), this exclusive first showing marks a new chapter in Waterfall’s 25-year legacy of blending high-end audio performance with striking design.
