Vimar has announced new 7in and 10in View Touch devices for smart home control. Thanks to a user-friendly interface, the devices provide comprehensive supervision of all connected systems, including the View Wireless smart home platform, By-me Plus home automation, Elvox Video Door Entry, the By-alarm Plus burglar alarm and Elvox CCTV video surveillance.
All this translates into immediate control over lighting, blinds and roller shutters, climate control, electrical consumption, alarms and cameras. They are single control devices with a user-friendly layout, featuring clean-cut and well-organised widgets designed to simplify every daily interaction.
Available in two formats with 7-inch and 10-inch displays, these devices are distinguished by an ultra-slim profile of just 8.5 mm. To ensure they blend perfectly into any setting, the front frame can be customised upon request.
In the new View Touch, a proximity sensor wakes up the display, switching it from energy-saving mode to an active operating mode, revealing the Favourites page, highlighting the functions used most frequently by the user.
What’s more, the proximity and brightness sensors automatically adjust the display settings and feature an integrated notification LED that changes colour based on specific events, such as burglar alarm, technical alarm, load cut-off or missed video door entry call.
