Vimar has expanded its hospitality technology range with new KNX Secure access control solutions, including the Tactil landing panel, alongside its View Suite platform for centralised management of hotel rooms, systems and services.
Among the new access control solutions, the new Tactil landing panel, with KNX Secure technology, stands out for its design, security and usability.
The device features an integrated RFID reader and Bluetooth technology, enabling room access with a card or directly from a smartphone using the View Key App.
Easy to install on 2-module round mounting boxes or 3-module rectangular mounting boxes, configured either vertically or horizontally, it is defined by a glass front cover available in black or white.
The IP55 protection degree makes it suitable also for outdoor use. Extensive customisation options – from hotel logo and room numbers to icon appearance – mean the device can adapt to the identity of the facility, enhancing brand image and improving guest experience.
Furthermore, landing readers and pocket card readers now adopt KNX Secure technology to ensure high standards of security, reliability and flexibility. They offer system integration and ensure aesthetic consistency with the Vimar series.
Thanks to integrated Bluetooth connectivity they allow highly secure access to rooms using the View Key app on a smartphone instead of a card, offering guests an easy option to avoid queues at the reception desk.
Thanks to offerings that combine advanced technology, easy management and coordinated design, Vimar helps accommodation facilities evolve with solutions designed to make the hospitality sector increasingly more efficient, secure, and oriented towards guest well-being.
Vimar’s View Suite represents a state-of-the-art smart facility management platform: a solution developed to offer integrated, centralised control for rooms, systems and services.
Accessible via PC, tablet, and smartphone, it allows users to monitor and manage the entire building at all times, on site or remotely. Thanks to its flexibility and scalability, it can be used to supervise devices, integrate third-party systems and centralise lighting, air conditioning, blinds and access control.
The platform allows to configure rooms and services, monitor consumption and systems, manage users and reports, helping to plan, coordinate and optimise all activities in an easy and effective manner.
