Prove your humanity

NAD Electronics’ C 700 and C 700 V2 BluOS Streaming Amplifiers are now officially certified by Dirac for Dirac Live Room Correction. This certification confirms that both models meet the stringent technical standards for Dirac and enables users to take full advantage of this state-of-the-art room correction technology.

Dirac Live is one of the most advanced digital room correction technologies available, using patented algorithms to analyse and correct for the unique acoustic properties of any listening space. With Dirac Live, listeners experience improved imaging, tighter bass and more accurate sound reproduction – delivering a performance that rivals much larger and more complex audio systems.

“Dirac Live Room Correction further strengthens the C 700 and C 700 V2’s position as category leaders for stereo streaming amplifiers,” says Cas Oostvogel, NAD Product Manager. By enabling this leading technology, we’re offering listeners a significant upgrade in audio fidelity and room tuning flexibility; further proof of NAD’s commitment to delivering high-end performance in an elegant, user-friendly package.”

First introduced in 2021, the NAD C 700 BluOS Streaming Amplifier was designed as a modern, compact amplifier for the streaming age. With a sleek aluminum case, high-resolution colour display and intuitive operation via the BluOS app, the C 700 combines audiophile-grade amplification with cutting-edge convenience.

Its HybridDigtial UcD amplifier delivers 2 x 80 watts of power, ensuring musical dynamics and clarity even with demanding speaker loads. With built-in support for BluOS, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL and Qobuz, the C 700 has become a reference system for compact high-performance streaming components.

Released in 2024, the C 700 V2 builds on the legacy of the original C 700 with several key enhancements. In addition to Dirac Live Room Correction, the V2 model introduces an upgraded ESS SABRE DAC and circuitry design for improved resolution and soundstage, plus a phono input for vinyl playback. It also supports surround sound via BluOS, making it a uniquely versatile two-channel amplifier that can scale to immersive playback. These updates have established the C 700 V2 as a best-in-class solution for modern audiophiles who demand flexibility, performance, and minimalist design.

Both the NAD C 700 and C 700 V2 are now fully certified and compatible with Dirac Live Room Correction. This feature is available today, with the option to purchase a full Dirac Live license for advanced room calibration.
