Karma-AV has announced the UK availability of the MoFi Electronics SourcePoint V10 Master Edition three-way loudspeaker, the largest and most powerful speaker in the SourcePoint series.
For the V10 flagship, Andrew Jones has evolved the 10in, two-way SourcePoint 10 stand-mounted design by adding twin 10in woofers and dual rear‑firing 10in passive radiators to produce a three-way tower speaker, which combines mid/HF detail and coherence with greater bass response and resolution.
So named for its use of five 10in elements, the V10’s three-way system allows its custom 10in concentric drive unit to focus purely on midrange and treble, so that each part of the spectrum is handled optimally by a dedicated driver, reducing operational stress and preserving clarity from 27 Hz to 30 kHz.
To facilitate precise phase alignment for a seamless handover between drivers as well as treble level from the system, the V10 Master Edition employs a tune-able crossover network, which allows the listener to adjust the speaker’s HF output for room acoustics and user preferences via a rear-mounted three-position switch.
The V10’s 1in-thick closed cabinet features the SourcePoint platform’s signature multi‑faceted baffle, which uses strategically angled planes around each driver to tame edge diffraction and unwanted reflections. Meanwhile, isolated internal chambers for each woofer and passive radiator work to minimise cabinet resonance and contribute to well controlled bass output.
Available in a choice of Walnut or Black Ash real‑wood veneers, with black or grey magnetic grilles, each cabinet is book‑matched for a seamless grain flow and sealed under a hard‑wearing satin clear coat that highlights the wood’s natural character while protecting against everyday wear.
The loudspeaker will be available in October 2025 for a typical retail price (inc VAT) pair (with grilles) of £8,800.00.An additional black or grey grilles pair will cost £270.00
