Wire-free flexibility and remote monitoring capabilities are already installer favourites. At ISE, Lutron are providing both, delivering innovations that simplify the installation process for residential integrators and installers, empowering them to work more efficiently and provide a better service to customers.
As well as launching Palladiom wire-free and updating HomeWorks software, Lutron will showcase RA2 Select, S-fold draperies, Alisse and Wood Blinds. RA2 Select, the simple, wireless whole home lighting control solution for every home, enables perfect light, seamlessly works with smart home solutions brands and is easily installed by Lutron PRO qualified electrical contractors. S-fold draperies and wooden blinds address homeowners’ interest in innovative window treatments which are at the same time distinctive and comfortable, while Alisse provides users with the most elegant, flexible wall control on the market.
Features of the new solutions include:
Palladiom wire-free shading system – The Palladiom shading system redefines the beauty of daylight control. Available as a wired, and now wire-free, battery-operated system, these shades look beautiful from every angle, with all of the internal technology concealed and an innovative battery change mechanism which enables battery to be changed while keeping the blind in situ. Palladiom shading solutions are designed to be installed without a fascia, pocket, or recess in exposed applications.
The Palladiom wire-free shading system offers complete wire-free installation and precise, automated control of daylight. The solution is designed to enhance the space by highlighting what is beyond the windowpane, while delivering daylight control at scale. The minimal design provides the ultimate flexibility with an integrated antenna and easily replaceable batteries stored within the shade itself.
As well as elevating design, the solution has industry-leading battery life. Palladiom Wire-Free runs on Active Energy Optimisation, a battery management architecture designed to maximise the efficiency of traditional alkaline batteries to extend battery lifetime. Using six or fewer batteries, the system can run for three to five years.
HomeWorks – For over three decades, HomeWorks has been redefining expectations around lighting and blinds control in the most prestigious homes. At ISE, Lutron will be introducing new software and e-tools for HomeWorks, needed to design, quote and commission a project including remote monitoring and diagnostics that allow integrators to upload changes without physically going onsite. These include a new digital workflow to make integrators more efficient, remote access to provide faster service to clients and a cloud connection to ensure firmware and backups are always up to date.
“The new Palladiom wire-free adds incredible flexibility to our most elegant shading solution,” says Steve Detmer, Residential Product Manager at Lutron. “We want to help our community expand their offering and become a full-service lighting and blind control provider for all their projects. The wire-free Palladiom shading system combines a design-centric aesthetic with the simplicity of wire-free operation, making it easier than ever to bring the perfect daylight control to the most demanding homeowners.”
