Just Add Power’s configuration software, Advanced Matrix Programmer (AMP), has expanded its support list to include Ruckus switches.
Just Add Power’s AMP streamlines the configuration of Omega, Ultra, or MaxColor devices as well as supported switches, transforming them into an HDMI distribution system. It also consolidates the setup process for individual devices, making it more efficient and user-friendly.
“We are thrilled to include additional support for Ruckus switches in our Advanced Matrix Programmer,” says Ed Qualls, CEO and founder of Just Add Power. “The addition of Ruckus switch support will undoubtedly enhance the capabilities of network administrators utilising AMP, which equates to broader compatibility and streamlining operations. This expansion highlights our devotion to exceeding the needs of our customers while also ensuring that AMP remains a prominent solution for diverse networking environments.”
Just Add Power’s AMP simplifies the setup process for individual Just Add Power devices — discovering them on the local network, presenting them in a list and allowing installers to name them, configure their IP addresses and assign channels to encoders — then later assisting with desired updates when new firmware is released. Once the Just Add Power system is configured, AMP also provides a user interface that can be used to control source switching.
Expanding support to include Ruckus switches will allow for compatibility with an extensive range of Ruckus ICX8200 series models, covering 8-port, 24-port, and 48-port sizes.
Multi-switch configurations are possible with 24- and 48-port supported models.
The list of selected models that are now supported under AMP can be found here.
