Innosonix has launched the µMA04/M, marking the next stage in the expansion of its MICRO MAXX Series.

Following the debut of the MICRO MAXX Series and the µMA04/POE at last year’s ISE, the vision was to evolve MICRO MAXX into a flexible family of small-channel amplifiers, broadening what an Innosonix solution can look like for today’s integrators.

The µMA04/M delivers power performance comparable to its PoE sibling. This four-channel amplifier provides 120 watts per channel at both 4Ω and 8Ω, with the option to bridge two channels for 240 watts at 8Ω.

In the making of this new product, Innosonix has listened closely to its distributors, partners and the wider market. While compact, small-channel amplifiers powered by traditional mains power have long had their place, Innosonix set out to approach this requirement differently.

The system features built-in DSP with advanced processing capabilities, including a 32-point EQ, FIR filters and independent limiting, providing precise audio control and effective system optimisation.

Innosonix’s flexible Audio over IP (AoIP) architecture allows users to choose their preferred protocol, including Dante and AES67, ensuring seamless network integration.

Despite its compact form, the solution delivers impressive power. Using the µMA04/M rack-mount kit, one, two or three units can be installed within a single 1U space, providing up to 12 channels of amplification.

Designed for scalability, the MICRO MAXX Series suits multi-zone audio systems, retrofit projects and installations in remote or unconventional locations, adapting easily as system requirements evolve.

Energy efficiency and sustainability are central to Innosonix’s development approach. The use of GaN (Gallium Nitride) technology enables significantly lower idle power consumption, helping to reduce overall environmental impact.

The slim design of the µMA04/M is designed to simplify installation across a wide range of environments. When paired with Innosonix MAXX Remote software, users benefit from centralised configuration, monitoring and diagnostics, ensuring a seamless system management experience.

From residential multi-room audio systems to large-scale commercial projects, the µMA04/M is designed to offer versatility. Whether deployed in retail environments, outdoor venues, or modern office spaces, it delivers flexibility and sound quality without the limitations of traditional system designs, says the manufacturer.

Designed to evolve alongside Ethernet standards and audio networking protocols, the µMA04/M presents itself as a future-ready investment for both integrators and end users.
