Hisense brings world’s largest single panel TV to UK

Hisense has launched its 116in UX TV in the UK, setting new industry benchmarks with its RGB-MiniLED local dimming technology and record-breaking screen size – the 116in UX is reported to be the world’s largest single panel TV.

Hisense is the first in the industry to achieve mass production of RGB-MiniLED TVs. The UX uses individual red, green and blue Mini LEDs – rather than single-colour – across thousands of dimming zones.

This enables colour coverage of up to 95% BT.2020 and peak brightness of 8,000 nits, delivering rich colour with vivid sparkles and precise gradient.

Powered by the advanced Hi-View AI Engine X, the UX optimises picture, sound and scenario settings in real time. Whether it’s football, film, or gaming, every scene is fine-tuned for maximum impact.

The experience is further enhanced by the 6.2.2 CineStage X Surround system. Crafted in collaboration with the Opéra de Paris, these TVs transcend technology to become acoustic masterpieces. Each design is an ode to Parisian opera-house acoustics.

Having already received several ‘Best of CES’ Awards from publications following its unveiling at the trade show, the UX has been hailed as “delivering the richest colours seen on an LCD” and “redefining immersion.”

The 116in UX will be available in the UK from late August 2025 at £24,999 RRP in Selfridges, Harrods, Currys, Harvey Norman and other selected retailers in 2025. The slightly more compact 100in UX will also be available in the UK arriving early Q4 2025.
