TEKKO Gebäudeautomation GmbH, part of the TELENOT Group, and DoorBird, a provider of IP video intercom systems and a member of the ASSA ABLOY Group, have announced their new partnership. From now on, the products of both companies can be fully and seamlessly integrated. This expands their portfolios and provides customers with more comfort, security and simplicity.
With the DoorBird device interface, up to four DoorBird intercoms can be integrated into the TEKKO system. Through the TEKKO Controller, intercom functions with DoorBird IP stations are enabled. Direct integration makes door communication an integral part of a smart building.
Users benefit by being able to manage not only classic features such as “see who’s at the door” or “unlock the door”, but also lighting, shading, heating, or energy management (HEMS) from one single interface. When someone rings the doorbell, the entrance light can automatically be switched on, or scenarios such as video recording can be activated – all within a single platform, without isolated solutions or additional apps.
DoorBird also enables the central configuration and control of all doors and gates in the building. The integrated digital key solution in the IP video intercom stations provides versatile applications for secure, convenient and cost-effective access.
Integration is intuitive, fast and requires no programming. Electricians save time and resources during installation, while end users enjoy maximum convenience with one app, one controller, one system.
Thorsten Hammele, Head of Technology at TEKKO, emphasises, “The cooperation between DoorBird and TEKKO combines smart technology with ease of use – creating door communication that ensures security, comfort and future readiness alike.”
DoorBird CEO Sascha Keller adds, “With DoorBird and TEKKO, door communication can be conveniently controlled and easily integrated into existing building automation systems – an efficient solution for both new and existing buildings.”
All products are manufactured in Germany and Switzerland to the highest quality and safety standards. Installation is simple and intuitive, without complex programming.
All functions – from door communication and security to lighting, shading, room control and energy management – can be managed centrally. The system is flexible and suitable for both new builds and existing properties, in private as well as commercial applications.
Comfort and security are ensured through intercom functionality, door release and automation scenarios such as light activation or video recording. Via the app, users can access door communication anytime and from anywhere.
